Join our Team: become a C.A.D.A.C Volunteer!

Here at the RSPCA Canterbury & District animal centre, we are only able to carry-out the work that we do through the hard work and dedication of our Branch volunteers.

Volunteering with us is extremely flexible and there are roles available to suit everyone. Contrary to popular belief, we don't ask for any set time commitments; any time you can offer to the Branch, and to helping our animals, is considered extremely valuable. Whether it be several times a week or once-in-a-blue-moon, your support makes all the difference to us.

Below are a list of some of the volunteering roles available; however, these are not "set in stone", and many of our volunteers choose to undertake several job roles, or contribute to activities outside of their role description where they feel they can/want to.

Interested in volunteering? If so, all you need to do is email:

Once in receipt of your email, the Deputy Centre Manager, Tara Luxford, will be in touch at the earliest opportunity to discuss your application. At busy times, applications can sometimes take several weeks to process, so please do not be deterred if you do not hear from us straight away - we'll be in touch soon!
