Many animals have never experienced a
loving home life

As animal lovers our furry friends make life feel complete. And for those who have found their forever family – life is good. The problem is, so many animals, through no fault of their own, end up in an environment where they cannot thrive. Many in our care have never experienced the wonders of a happy home life. And that’s where you can help.

There are many cats in rescues in need of a home, some with complex needs or some who just want to be loved - that's why when you adopt a cat, the bond is even more incredibly special!

Ready to open your heart and home to an animal in need?

Our rehoming process works to make sure we find the best match for the animals in our care. If you’re ready to give a cat in need the life they deserve, we’re here to help you do that. Our rehoming process looks like this:

  • 1 Request an adoption application form
    – Simply email info@rspca-canterbury.org.uk to receive an application form for you to complete in the comfort of your own home. If you would prefer to speak to us by phone you can call us on 01227 719 113.
  • 2 Choose your purrfect match
    – One of our qualified Rehoming team will assess your application and arrange a phone consultation with you to suggest an animal(s) that would suit your home and lifestyle. We can then arrange a visit to meet your potential new family member(s). We operate by appointment only to manage our capacity and to reduce as much stress as possible to the cats in the cattery
  • 3 Change their lives forever
    – know you’ve helped make the world of difference to an animal who needed it most
