The RSPCA C.A.D.A.C Team
Our RSPCA Branch was originally founded in October 1962 by a group of forward-thinking and enthusiastic animal lovers who wanted to make a difference to animals in the Cantebury area, and it is still run and managed by a dedicated board of voluntary trustees today.
Whilst the RSPCA Canterbury and District animal centre (or "C.A.D.A.C") does have a small team of employed staff, we rely heavily on the helping hands of our volunteer team to care for our animals, and to be able to continue our essential animal rescue work.
From helping-out in our shops to assisting with events and the day-to-day care of our centre's residents, our volunteers really are at the core of everything that we do.
Unlike many other organisations, we are very flexible with our approach to volunteer recruitment: we do not ask for any commitment "set times" or "shifts" and are happy for you to undertake the roles that suit you.
